E-Mail Hosting Policy | Acceptable Use Policy

Digital IMS, Inc. E-Mail Hosting Policy As with any service provided by Digital IMS, Inc., users of our e-mail hosting services are bound by the current terms of our Acceptable Use Policy. A copy of the Digital IMS Acceptable Use Policy can be found at http://digitalims.com/policies No user may send Unsolicited Commercial E-mail (UCE), otherwise known as spam. UCE is defined in our Acceptable Use Policy. E-mail will not be kept on the server for more than 120 days. E-mail older than 120 days will be automatically removed from the server whether or not it has been accessed, downloaded or read. E-mail may not be kept on the server for more than 45 days after it has been accessed, downloaded or read. Please keep attachments below 5 MB in size. Attachments over 30 MB in size are prohibited. Any single account that has not been accessed for 180 days will be automatically removed. Removal of the account will result in the loss of all messages on the server at that time and the refusal of future messages. Digital IMS, Inc. will attempt to serve notice of account terminations to the postmaster account of the affected domain one week prior to termination. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that a postmaster account exists and is checked regularly. Digital IMS, Inc. reserves the right to suspend service for any account determined to be spreading e-mail viruses, purposefully or accidentally, until the client can prove that the infected systems have been cleaned. Digital IMS, Inc. is not responsible for any damages, real or otherwise, caused by Failure or delay of mail systems Viruses spread via e-mail Unsolicited or unwanted e-mail Clients are encouraged to protect every computer that is or will be connected to the Internet with current virus protection software.
